DAMIEN REILLY
Chairman

After hearing the news in 2005 and seeing the images of devastation & despair left behind when Hurricanes ripped through New Orleans and surrounding areas Damien Reilly new it was time for his good fortune in life to benefit others much less fortunate. Always having a strong musical connection with the area, his record collection brimming with blues influenced vinyls from the past 40 years, being an accomplished musician and a strong business connection with the USA he new this was his calling. Hurricane Healing is a project that will continue to grow long after other 'short blast' campaigns are forgotten, this is because the project evolves with new music in the form of compilations released every year and revenues going straight to the areas that need it most.

His diverse and far reaching global networks in technology provide Blue Pie Productions with a market leading edge in web based communication systems. Damien has built systems for some of Australia's leading companies including Energy Australia, Cotton Australia, KPMG AUSTRALIA and Intelligent Smart Cards to name a few, Mr. Reilly is a specialist in the practical application and integration of web based communication systems for business.

Damien has over 18 years IT experience. He is an accomplished musician, composer and producer with numerous international recording credits to his name and top 40 chart achievements. Blue Pie Productions is receiving critical acclaim worldwide. The company is enjoying global recognition with Damien leading his team with successful licenses, chart positions and sales of the Blue Pie catalogue in Australia, USA, UK, Italy and Asia. Blue Pie has established a solid presence within the Australian market place and continues to expand its catalogue of rights and content globally. The firm has developed a number of proprietary technologies. Blue Pie has committed to creating long-term residual income stream business models for charities and funding mechanisms allowing them to grow and continue their good work. Good examples are the Hurricane Healing and Hurtmyself business models.

As the Chairman of Hurricane Healing Damien oversees all activities and sits at the helm steering the global direction of Hurricane Healing.

ROB HOOPER -
Corporate Affairs 

Rob's experience of owning and managing businesses in both the financial services and manufacturing industries coupled with his 17 years as a practising lawyer provides Blue Pie with an ideal Chairman to manage and help steer the company to global success.

Rob founded one of Sydney Australia's most successful " low doc " and " deposit bond " businesses for the Sydney Real Estate market during the 90's and early millennium. Rob also founded one of Australia's leading conveyance practises. He is a trained lawyer by profession with a commercial mind with international business experience.

Rob has worked with Blue Pie and Damien Reilly for the past 10 years to develop one of Australia's largest independent catalogues of digital content. Rob set up Blue Pie's corporate structure back in 1996.

Technology and digital rights are something that Rob and Damien have been very successful within the past 10 years. In 1996 Rob worked with Damien to secure a series of technology rights in from one of Germany's leading encryption and bank security firms " INCOSYS ". This lead to the deployment of a set of unique tools and applications to check and verify data packet transmissions from ATM to ATM within the Australian banking and finance sector. The systems were sold through to ERICOM one of the worlds leading bank and security encryption firms.

Rob is a successful property developer and has extensive knowledge in the areas of I.P.O's and capital acquisition, I.T markets and the global capital markets. Rob 's global network of high net worth individuals and companies provides Blue Vault Digital with access to key market accelerators and capital.

With Rob Hooper, Hurricane Healing has the legal knowledge and business experience by it's side to guide the project safely and quickly through any red tape it may encounter.

MIKE MACKAY -
Project Director 

Mike Mackay is and ex Radio and TV Marketing & Promotions Director who saw the digital revolution coming and over the last 10 years has since built a global reputation as a Thought Leader in web, mobile, CRM and related technologies. Mike’s career includes several years working in advertising agencies as a Digital Director developing promotional marketing strategies for clients like Coca-Cola, Microsoft and Unilever. He now runs his own company, IdeaFarm, based in Sydney, Australia.

JON TABER -
VP Business Development USA  

Jon Taber is a seasoned executive and product manager with extensive experience in the fields of:

· software development
· web design and hosting
· wholesale and retail sales
· design, manufacturing and distribution of computers
· manufacturing of semiconductors
· design, manufacturing and sales of food and toys
· management of hospitality facilities
· management of medical services

Jon’s vast experience and wisdom add ‘depth’ to the Hurricane Healing team in every sense of the word.

Jon is known for founding and growing corporate and branch operations of hightech firms and effectively leading teams involved in product design and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales and customer support. He is a strong communicator, creative and organisational strengths, find and seize business opportunities and deliver profitable, on-time performance for Fortune 1000 clients, 36 colleges and universities, numerous business associations, conventions, sales organizations and community service groups. His most popular programs deal with improving leadership skills and improving business performance. Jon and his wife (Judy) are co-authoring books, computer software and audio/visual tools to facilitate self-discovery and performance improvement.

‘Training Wheels for Your Mind’ and ‘Secrets of the Colour Wheel’ were published in 2006 with other titles to follow.






KAREN CANTWELL -
Strategic Marketing Advisor - Global Marketing

With 14 years experience in Sales and Marketing and most recently 4 years as General Manager of a multi-million dollar Advertising Agency, Ms Cantwell has developed a wide range of networks and experience in the Advertising and Marketing sector. Ms Cantwell holds a Masters in Business Administration from QUT with minors in International Business and Marketing. Karen is the founder of Atlantis consulting.

As strategic marketing advisor to Hurricane Healing Karen provides on going strategy, marketing and market leverage through her dynamic network.

STUART TABRETT -
Operations Manager

Like all great Operations Managers, Stuart has an eye for detail. His project management and accounting background means Hurricane Healing is on a solid financial footing from day one. Stuart’s diverse corporate background has seen him develop and manage some of Australia’s largest and most complex transport and communication projects including working with companies such as SOCOG during the 2000 Olympic Games. Other roles have been with industry leaders Coca Cola, Amatil, Baiada Poultry and GEC Alsthom. Stuart has the ability to analyze and re-engineer complex businesses processes, streamlining them so they run more for efficiently and in turn gross bigger annual profits.
 
During his time at SOCOG during the 2000 Sydney Olympics he was able to successfully do what previous organisers said was impossible – the delivery of a seamless transport solution on a huge scale. The combination of a ‘can do’ attitude, experience and his energy means that Hurricane Healing has an Operations Manager that will really drive the project forward.

COLIN SEEGER -
Corporate Affairs

Colin has been actively involved in copyright and intellectual property management for nearly 20 years. He manages corporate affairs and intellectual property protection for Blue Pie, our artists and the Blue Pie global catalogue of music. His work ensures that Hurricane Healing’s rights issues, both locally and overseas, are dealt with on a Global Best Practice basis. Colin has been a key in the establishment of Blue Pie’s strategic alliances with firms like FINTAGE and ARIA and his knowledge of the intricacies of I.P. Law mean our business model is properly protected.

Colin has been a Partner in the boutique legal practice, Simpson’s Solicitors where he’s advised on all aspects of the licensing and commercialisation of intellectual property, litigation, venture structuring and the management of intellectual property rights in businesses and organisations.
 
He has also acted as Corporate Counsel and Legal & Business Affairs Manager for Polygram Australia, overseeing the acquisition and creation of recordings and films as well as managing the administration and enforcement of the company’s extensive catalogues of copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property.He was a member of the Australian Record Industry Association’s Copyright Committee for five years and sat on the Ethics Committee of The Law Society of New South Wales dealing with complex ethics issues.

Colin is the co-author of the first edition of the widely respected book “Music Business” and was a lecturer at the University of New South Wales College of Fine Arts, teaching the postgraduate subject “Cultural Property, Ethics and the Law” - a cross-discipline subject combining commercial law, intellectual property and business administration.

This remarkable track record means Colin is ideally suited for his role with Hurricane Healing as he has a 360 degree view of all the issues we are dealing with every day.
